All F5 TMOS v16 will go end-of-life on 31st July 2025

Keeping up to date with your security software is vital. You could be due for an F5 upgrade.

Staying current is not just a best practice – it’s a necessity. For F5 users, this means keeping your BIG-IP systems up to date with the latest supported versions. You can find out if you’re due for an upgrade with our bespoke F5 Software Countdown!

Software currency-the practice of using up-to-date software versions-is a fundamental principle of cybersecurity. By staying current, you ensure that your systems are protected against the latest threats and can leverage the most recent features and improvements.

If you’re on version 15.1 or earlier, you are running on unsupported, outdated software, and it’s time to plan your upgrade strategy.

With version 16.1.x reaching End of Support (EoS) and End of Life (EoL) in July 2025, you should aim to be on version 17.1.x or 17.5.x for optimal security and performance.
